These terms cover your use of the R2-D2 Discord bot, operated by Mar Trepodi. By adding the bot to a Discord server or running any of its commands, you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the bot.
R2-D2 is a free, non-commercial, unofficial Discord bot for players of Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes. It displays game information and helps coordinate guild activities. It is a hobby project run by one person, not a company, and there is no paid tier, no subscription, and nothing for sale.
Not affiliated with anyone official. R2-D2 is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Electronic Arts Inc., Capital Games, Lucasfilm Ltd., or The Walt Disney Company. All game content, names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Some commands need access to your game account. Linking is optional; the bot's public-data commands work without it. If you do link, you are authorising the bot to create game sessions on your behalf and to make requests to the game servers as you.
Read this part before linking. Third-party tools that authenticate to Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes are not officially supported by Electronic Arts or Capital Games. Using one may be inconsistent with the game's own terms of service, and carries a risk — however small in practice — of action against your game account, up to suspension or loss of the account.
That risk is yours, and it is not one anyone else can carry for you. Do not link an account you would be unwilling to lose. If that risk is unacceptable, use only the commands that do not require linking.
You may unlink at any time with /unlink, which destroys the stored credential. You can
also invalidate it from EA's side by changing your EA password.
You are responsible for actions taken through your linked account via the bot. No one else — not Discord server administrators, not the bot's operator — can run commands as your account; see the Privacy Policy for how that is enforced.

The bot serves a shared, rate-limited connection to the game servers. Deliberately consuming that capacity to others' detriment is a breach of these terms.
The bot is provided as is, with no guarantee of availability, uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any purpose. It depends on Discord and on the game's own servers, both of which can change or fail without notice. Game data shown may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong.
It may be taken offline, changed, restricted, or discontinued at any time, for any reason, without notice. Do not build anything you depend on around it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mar Trepodi is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the bot. That includes, without limitation, loss of or damage to a game account, loss of game progress or items, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss.
This is a free service provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You may stop at any time: run /unlink and /deregister, and remove the bot
from your servers. See the Privacy Policy for what deletion does.
We may suspend or terminate access — for an individual or a whole server — for breach of these terms, for abuse of the service, or where continuing would put the service or its users at risk.
These terms may change. The date at the top will change with them, and material changes will be announced in the bot's support channel. Continuing to use the bot after a change means accepting it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of that state, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law gives you the right to proceed elsewhere.
